Kelly moved from the Salt Lake Valley to Pine Canyon in 2019 along with her husband, Steve, to build their forever home. She brought with her 35 years of group fitness and yoga teaching experience. Many of those years were also spent mentoring her students and fellow instructors. Kelly is a 500 hour RYT with additional training in meditat

Kelly moved from the Salt Lake Valley to Pine Canyon in 2019 along with her husband, Steve, to build their forever home. She brought with her 35 years of group fitness and yoga teaching experience. Many of those years were also spent mentoring her students and fellow instructors. Kelly is a 500 hour RYT with additional training in meditation and mindfulness, trauma sensitive and alignment based yoga. She suffered for many years with degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis resulting in both lumbar and cervical fusion. She specializes in the hips and spine. Her classes show correct alignment and safe modifications, so the participant is able to fit the pose into their body instead of trying to fit their body into the pose. Kelly's classes are highly informative as well as challenging. Her goal is to have less "fused" people in the world.

Melani has enjoyed practicing yoga with her mother Kelly, the owner of Empower for many years but especially fell in love with prenatal yoga while pregnant with her two babies. She decided to continue with that passion, pursue training and become a Certified Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Teacher. Melani and her husband made the decision to move their little family to the area and is excited to bring prenatal yoga to the moms-to-be of this wonderful community!

After practicing yoga for just two years she was inspired to take her practice further and gain more knowledge so she began her 200 hour Teacher Training wit

 Britney first came to a yoga class for the physical benefits hoping to become more fit. She quickly found yoga to be a place of connection, movement, and awareness of body and mind. After practicing yoga for just two years she was inspired to take her practice further and gain more knowledge so she began her 200 hour Teacher Training with YogaAssets. With a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Britney has a passion and connection with teaching children. She finds joy in the the energy and genuine emotion they bring. She loves sharing yoga as a safe space to find movement, joy, and express ones emotions. Britney truly believes that every step in her yoga journey has helped her become her true authentic self and she finds joy watching others grow on their own yoga journey.

Sydnie began her journey in Yoga due to a pinched sciatic nerve in 2006. She fell in love with the additional mental benefits she gained as she has practiced through these last 15 years. Sydnie loves working out! Anything from lifting, spin, Pilates, kickboxing and step. Yoga helps her stay healthy physically and mentally to be able to pa

This includes raising her six daughters. Wanting to share the preventative and healing aspects of yoga with others brought her to work on her 200-hr certification through Yoga Assets. Sydnie wants to create an atmosphere that yoga is for every 'BODY'. Wherever you are are it is right where you need to begin. The practice of yoga is a journey that will never end, there is no perfection, just the joy in the journey.

She has come to appreciate yoga as a way to focus on the present moment and step away from the rush and stress that can sometimes be found in everyday life. The happiness that she found in attending classes inspired her to com

Stacy first came to yoga as a form of fitness, but soon found more mental and emotional benefits in her practice. She has come to appreciate yoga as a way to focus on the present moment and step away from the rush and stress that can sometimes be found in everyday life. The happiness that she found in attending classes inspired her to complete her 200-hour certification through Brown Dog Yoga in West Virginia. In her teaching, she aims to welcome practitioners of all levels to a comfortable, judgement- free space for reconnecting with themselves and finding peace amidst the chaos. She hopes her students step off their mats feeling refreshed, strong, and balanced.

Camille found Yoga and Mindfulness to be transformative in her own mental health journey through anxiety, stress, and reactivit

 

Camille Kennard is a CYP-500 Clinical Yoga Practitioner, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a Certified Meditation Teacher, and the founder of Flourish Wellness Consulting. anxiety, trauma, insomnia and other conditions move through disturbance by connecting to the body. Camille uses trauma sensitive techniques to empower her students to cultivate a positive 

relationship with their body.

Joelle Lane is a wife and a mother of two sweet little boys. She grew up in Salt Lake City Utah and graduated from the University of Utah with her bachelors degree and fell in love with taking yoga classes. 

For the last 9 years she has lived in Spring Creek Nevada where she got to pursue her passion for yoga and dive into yoga teaching. S

Joelle Lane is a wife and a mother of two sweet little boys. She grew up in Salt Lake City Utah and graduated from the University of Utah with her bachelors degree and fell in love with taking yoga classes. 

For the last 9 years she has lived in Spring Creek Nevada where she got to pursue her passion for yoga and dive into yoga teaching. She is a 200 ytt certified and specializes in yoga for beginners, senior yoga, yoga for warriors along with meditation. She has just recently moved back to Utah and Tooele and is looking forward to teaching yoga again!

Our new class has begun!! Hatha yoga is great for improving flexibility, balance, reducing anxiety and stress, building stronger mental clarity and focus. Every Wednesday @ 9:30AM with our newest instructor Joelle L.
